Our readers also love…

I created Willa’s Herbal Book for readers who want to hold a deeper piece of Seabrook Island in their hands.

If you’ve ever wished you could step into Grace’s cottage, walk through the garden, open an old family notebook, and find the kind of recipes passed down through women who knew how to make a home feel safe, this little book is for you.

Inside, you’ll find a cozy collection of Seabrook-inspired herbal recipes, comfort rituals, garden notes, and legacy remedies drawn from the heart of the series. Think soothing teas, simple kitchen blends, calming bath ideas, porch-sitting drinks, garden-inspired comforts, and old-fashioned recipes that feel like something tucked inside a grandmother’s cupboard.

This is not a medical guide. It is a story-world keepsake. A gentle companion book created to bring the feeling of Seabrooke Island into your everyday life.

You’ll find recipes and notes inspired by:

  • Willa’s wisdom and love for old family traditions
  • Grace’s cottage garden and coastal kitchen
  • Seabrook’s porches, beaches, and slow mornings
  • Herbal teas, simple blends, and cozy rituals
  • Legacy recipes that feel handed down, remembered, and treasured

More than a recipe book, Willa’s Herbal Book is a small return to the island. It is for the reader who wants one more cup of tea, one more walk through the garden, one more reminder that comfort can be found in simple things.

If Seabrooke Island has ever felt like home to you, this book gives you another way to come back.

Note:

The Seabrook Island series follows the story of Grace Whitman, a forty-five year old woman who leaves behind a painful marriage and returns to the small coastal island where she once spent the happiest summers of her life as a teenager. This is a heartwarming women’s fiction series about starting over, healing from the past, finding family, and discovering that it is never too late to build a life that finally feels like your own.

The books are full of coastal charm, friendship, community, family drama, second chances, and sweet romance. Each story builds on the one before it, bringing back familiar faces while adding new characters, new secrets, and new reasons to fall in love with Seabrook Island.

These stories are clean and romantic, so you do not have to worry about graphic scenes or heavy vulgar language. But clean does not mean dull. There is plenty of emotion, heartache, hope, small-town drama, and love woven through every book. Be sure to read the reviews both here and on the retailers to see why readers keep coming back to experience Seabrook Island.

Great summer read

Just finished ‘The Beach Cottage’ and I’m officially RUINED for all other books this summer! 😭❤️ The way Grace rebuilds her life at 45 after her marriage falls apart… the tender romance with Ethan… the complicated family dynamics with her sister Willa… I’ve never felt so seen by fictional characters! Plus, who else fell completely in love with Seabrook Island? I’m already looking up coastal cottages I can’t afford! If you need me, I’ll be rereading the porch swing scene for the fifth time and pretending I’m there!

The Beach Cottage

What truly captivated me was watching Grace rediscover herself piece by piece, how she found strength and built a new kind of home.

Great series

Some books entertain. Others transform. This one does both.

Best series ever!

***opens book, reads for 6 hours straight, cancels plans, ignores family, stays up until 2am to finish, stares at ceiling processing emotions
immediately orders author’s entire backlist.*** If this sounds like a healthy reading experience to you, grab ‘The Beach Cottage’ immediately. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Great heartwarming read

It’s been a long time since a book made me feel this much. I’m honestly sad it’s over (or at least for now). Seabrook Island feels like a real place I’ve visited and miss already. If you’re looking for your next emotional, uplifting read about second chances and finding home in unexpected places, this is it. Absolutely it.

The Beach Cottage

Sometimes the bravest thing isn’t walking away. Sometimes it’s staying still long enough to discover who you really are.

Loved this series

I read ‘The Beach Cottage’ in one sitting yesterday and woke up this morning with the characters still living in my head. The way Grace navigates her complicated relationship with her ex-husband while building something new with Ethan… the tender moments between Claire and her mother as they both face unexpected crossroads… the island community that shows up for each other in ways both frustrating and beautiful… Loved this series.

Seabrook Island series

Loved every page of this series! Fair warning: if you start this on vacation, you might need another vacation to actually enjoy the beach! Worth. Every. Minute.

A Great story

Grace’s relationship with her sister Willa helped me reconnect with my own sister after years of distance. These books aren’t just fiction, they’re a roadmap for anyone who’s ever stood at life’s crossroads wondering which way leads home. Thank you for the story that became my companion during the loneliest nights and my celebration during the brightest days of starting over.

Greatest gift ever

My daughter gifted me ‘The Beach Cottage’ for Mother’s Day with a note that said ‘This reminded me of you.’ I was slightly offended at first (the main character is a divorced empty-nester starting over!), but by chapter three, I understood the compliment. Grace Whitman’s courage to rebuild her life at 45 resonated deeply with where I am now. The author captures the vulnerability of new beginnings with such authenticity, the terrifying freedom of second chances, the unexpected joy of finding yourself when you thought you were lost. I’ve already bought copies for my book club and three friends going through transitions.

Great book

I was convinced it was too late to change careers at 40. But after researching coastal towns and small business loans while creating a vision board for my dream bookshop-café, I cam across “The Beach Cottage” by Megan Holley. This book doesn’t just tell a good story, it whispers ‘what if?’ in your ear until you can’t ignore the possibilities anymore.

Almost Life-like characters

The way the author captures small-town coastal life is so authentic I could smell the salt air rising from the pages. The characters feel like friends I’ve known forever (especially Mrs. Patterson and Mrs. Jenkins with their festival planning drama!).

Starting Over

Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is pack a suitcase and drive toward the unknown. That line from ‘The Beach Cottage’ hit me like a wave when I was halfway through the book, sitting on my own porch wondering why I’d settled for so long. Two months later, I’ve given notice at my soul-crushing job, rented a tiny apartment near the coast, and finally started writing the cookbook I’ve dreamed about for years. Thank you Megan Holley for creating Grace Whitman, the fictional friend who gave me the courage to make real changes. This isn’t just a beach read, it’s a life raft.

Couldn’t put it down

As someone who’s spent her whole life running from discomfort, watching Grace Whitman plant roots and grow through her pain was the gentle challenge I needed. I started reading this as a beach vacation escape. I finished it with a journal full of reflections and a heart ready for change. Not all books need to change your life to be worth reading… but when one does, you share it with everyone you love. Consider this me sharing it with you. ❤️

Hopeful and Uplifting

I found ‘The Beach Cottage’ six months after my divorce was finalized. I was still in that strange limbo between relief and terror, wondering if I’d made the biggest mistake of my life at 42. Grace Whitman’s journey from her perfect Atlanta life to the messy, beautiful reality of Seabrook Island gave me the motivation  to embrace my own uncertainty.

Love this book!

I bought ‘The Beach Cottage’ for my beach vacation last month, and it turned out to be the worst decision ever…Because instead of enjoying the actual beach, I spent three days completely ABSORBED in this story! 😂
